Experience

ASSAI After School Program SD #73 / Leader
November 2019- PRESENT

I lead an after school guitar program once a week for 11 students.. I create and deliver lessons which include learning chords, strumming patterns, music theory, music games, listening activities, and songs of choice. The goal of this program is to connect students with caring adults within the school district.
Private Guitar Teacher
June 2018 – Present
I teach private beginner guitar lessons at my home where students learn various skills and techniques needed to play the guitar. I create lessons for each student and use multiple resources and lesson books to deliver positive learning experiences.

Practicum

I did my first term practicum in a grade 2-3 classroom in SD #73 where I shadowed the teacher and also carried out my own lessons in language arts.

I volunteered in a grade K-3 classroom where I helped the teacher deliver lessons in reading, writing, math, PE, and art.
